Studio A Salon reached capacity at their prior location and needed more room to grow. Our team evaluated their real estate location options and produced a modest 900 square foot salon design that would serve as a second location.
Just after receiving the permit, the owners came to us with a small change: incorporate the available suite next door so they could consolidate into a single new location. We looked for ways to keep the permitted design intact while doubling their space, but in the end we all decided a fresh start was the best solution. Our team started with a new layout and the result is everything the owners wanted.
For the interior design palette, we incorporated the colors, textures and attitude of their brand. A first-class, luxury experience is at the center of the design, with a welcoming reception and retail area, a bright and airy cut and style room, and intimate wash, color and change areas. Soft pinks, deep sage and fresh florals accent the space. Black and white mixed with gold and copper metallics give some Parisian flare and just the right amount of sparkle in the space.
The salon’s signature color is pink, and we embraced it head on: blush pink walls, pink face-printed wallpaper, pink terrazzo, copper pink light bulbs, and a big surprise in the bathrooms: floor-to-ceiling mirrored walls all in rose gold.
